Terms and Conditions for Building Use

North Harbour Life Development Centre is committed to maintaining a clean and tidy facility for all users. We ask that each group who uses the facilities join with us in keeping this an enjoyable place to be in.  We hope you enjoy your time here at North Harbour Life Development Centre.

While you are here:

• We are a smoke free and alcohol free environment
• No noise from cars or loud music after 10.30pm    
• DO NOT pin anything on the walls. Please make use of our Community Notice Boards in the Small Auditorium kitchen and in the foyer by the gym.
• Please respect grounds and gardens, keeping all pedestrian traffic to the footpaths and roads
• Cleaning equipment is available for after use tidy up.
• Large group users to have a  safety traffic management in the car park areas.

Before you leave:

• Please clean up after each session and if food has been used, please use vacuum facilities to clean.
• Remove all rubbish and place in bins outside the gym.
• It is the group leader’s responsibility to remove any items i.e. clothing, bags or lunch boxes after each session. Anything left behind will be placed in the rubbish or given directly to charity.
• Our cleaners will remove anything left at your cost.
• If stored chairs have been used, return to storage area.
• If any equipment is moved around the facility, return to original storage area.
• Wash all the dishes and clean all bench spaces.
• No food items to be left out

As you leave:

• Close all windows
• Switch off lights
• Set Alarm & Lock up

After you leave:

• We will carry out spot checks on each group periodically using this list of rules as a check list.  We will post out the report to each group leader when this has happened.
• If a major cleanup is necessary without prior arrangement, professional cleaners will be engaged at the cost of the user at a fee of $75 + GST will be charged.
